Leader’s Bio

A heart shaped by the Gospel.

Bishop W. T. Thomas III is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, introduced to the Gospel by his grandfather, Elder W. T. Thomas Sr., pastor of the Moldentown Church of God in Christ.

In 2002, Bishop Thomas rededicated his life to Christ under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Joseph Lawrence and received the anointing of the Holy Ghost. He met Sandra Thomas and, after a brief courtship, they were married. That October, he accepted his call to preach and was licensed by Bishop Lawrence. In 2006, Bishop Thomas and Pastor Sandra were both ordained.

In 2007, they began their ministry by holding worship services in the dining room of the Robinson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. From 2007–2017, many residents and staff were saved and committed their lives to Christ.

In 2014, Bishop Thomas and Senior Pastor Sandra Thomas founded Community Worship Center–Jacksonville, beginning in a storefront on Highway 161. In 2018, the ministry moved to its current location at 424 Church Street and established the Glory Manna Food Pantry.

He has served as First Assistant Chief Adjutant to Presiding Bishop Samuel White of United Fellowship International Ministries and as Chief Adjutant to Bishop Joseph Lawrence. Bishop Thomas draws on his own failures, shortcomings, and deliverance to preach and teach God’s Word. He is dedicated to equipping and training Christians to fulfill the call of God on their lives through revivals, lectures, workshops, conferences, and ministry engagements across the United States.
