COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Supporting Jacksonville residents with practical help, dignity, and compassion. Assistance is subject to eligibility, available funding, and available food. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
SERVICES WE PROVIDE
EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE
Food assistance may be available outside the regular distribution schedule after staff review. Call and leave your name, telephone number, and a brief message. A staff member will return your call.
JACKSONVILLE WATER WORKS ASSISTANCE
Limited help may be available for Jacksonville Water Works accounts. A current water bill with a shutoff or disconnect notice is required. A “last day to pay” notice alone does not qualify.
TEMPORARY EMERGENCY HOUSING
Eligible Jacksonville residents experiencing an immediate housing emergency may receive up to three nights in a hotel or motel. Applicants must have a plan for where they will go after the temporary stay.
